Organist

Beverly is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. Her formal education includes a Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E.) from Florida State University and Master of Music (M.M.) from Converse College

Beverly is a member of:  Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Alpha lota, Pi Kappa Lambda, Spartanburg Chapter of the American Guild of organists, and was past Dean of the Spartanburg, Music Club.

Beverly was a member of the Pre-College Music faculty for 31 years at the Petrie School of Music at Converse College. She served as accompanist for the Spartanburg Symphony Chorus for 25 years.  Other roles prior to coming to Second Spartanburg have included: Governor’s School Academy for the arts faculty, accompanist for USC Upstate (3 years), freelance accompanist, private piano and organ instructor, organist for Central United Methodist (22 years).
